Tiffa Theden

Tiffa is a nature goblin and is in love with all the wild creatures and beings that go unnoticed and overlooked in the forest. Especially fond of lichens, mushrooms, and galls, their art focuses on accurately portraying specific species, often rare or underreported ones, but in a cute, playful way. Their main art types are pen and ink with watercolor, and linocut block printing. A volunteer with many organizations, this will be Tiffa's first year as an Empty Bowls auction artist. They consistently attend the Last Tuesday Artists meetup at Sleeping Lady and just love the art community that exists in this beautiful valley. As the Land Steward at the Wenatchee River Institute, she gets to take care of all the plants that call that area home. Tiffa is also on the board of the Wenatchee Valley chapter of WNPS and the Northwest Lichenologists, and is active in the FUNDIS West Coast Rare Fungi Challenge, the Visual Art committee of NAMA, and Rare Care. They live in Leavenworth with their wonderful partner Dru and 2 adorable little cat friends, and are so honored to be able to help the community through art.
